Our program is structured in a unique fashion, allowing us to provide a beautiful and full harmonic sound with as few as four performers, or as many as thirty. Our co-directors, Molly and Lindsay Ryan, utilize their years of experience as professional singers, dancers, and actresses, including roles on Broadway, national tours, in professional regional musical theatre, film, television, commercials, and as award-winning show choir performers. In addition, the duo has been arranging and performing multi-genre a cappella music for many years in the groups “Little Ladiez” and “4 of Hart’s.”

Performances with the girl groups include boot camp finalists on X-Factor, and at many impressive venues, including the Key Arena in Seattle, LA’s Dodger Stadium, multiple appearances at Staples Center in Los Angeles before and during Lakers, Clippers and Sparks games, at the Home Depot Center, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, and more.

RockNacappella’s staff is additionally well-supported by coaches and technical advisors Jeff Smith and Laura Saggers. Jeff is a beatboxer & vocalist for the award-winning vocal group, “m-pact”. Since joining the band in 2004, he has toured across four continents in venues ranging from jazz clubs and festivals to concert halls and opera houses. While attending the University of Kansas on a bassoon scholarship, and along with a group of fellow music students, formed “measureXmeasure” (“measure by measure”), and a cappella eventually turned into a full-time profession. Jeff enjoyed 8 adventurous years with mXm, touring more than 30 U.S states and releasing 3 CDs. As a vocalist, he has performed in a wide range of settings, including recording sessions for Paramount Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox Film, Disney TV, and Yamaha Electronics; and live performances for Disneyland Resort and the MTV Video Music Awards. As a vocal percussionist, Jeff has been a featured performer for numerous national corporate events and meetings (Wal-Mart, Toyota, H&R Block, and others), as well as on recordings for film (Epic, Dance Flick) and television (Glee). Jeff is also in the U.S. Army Reserve and is commander and conductor of the 300th Army Band in Los Angeles.
